Build on licensed data
TRIVDA is a search API over licensed data. Your application or AI assistant sends a question and gets back ranked passages. Every passage carries its licence, its source and what the licence asks of you, so an answer built on it can cite it and stay within its terms.
Two ways in
- REST API
- For your own code.
POST /api/v1/search/querywith an API key. Start with the quickstart. - MCP connector
- For AI assistants: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and any other MCP client. Add
https://13-63-0-55.sslip.io/connector/mcpand sign in. See MCP connector.
Both use the same organisation, the same wallet and the same price, and both return the same passages.
What you pay
A search costs €1 per 1,000 tokens in the passages it returns. Five passages of about 300 tokens each come to 1,500 tokens, or €1.50; ask for fewer passages to pay less. A search that finds nothing costs nothing, and every new organisation gets 5 free searches. The details are on Pricing and billing.
Your host
The examples use https://13-63-0-55.sslip.io. Replace it with the address you sign in to TRIVDA on: the REST API is under /api/v1 and the connector under /connector/mcp on that same host.
Where to go next
For machines
- openapi.json: the public REST API as OpenAPI 3.1.
- llms.txt and llms-full.txt: these docs for language models, as an index and as one Markdown file.
